Special Budget 2000 coverage on the Internet

MaltaMedia News Service has launched a special Budget 2000 channel on the Internet that provides an extensive preview of the Budget and up-to-the-minute updates on Budget Day next Monday.

This channel, launched in collaboration with SearchMalta, is accessible on the News Service at http://maltamedia.com and by e-mail at news@maltamedia.com.

The preview section features an explanation in lay terms of what this event is all about and what will happen in the coming weeks, the proposals put forward by the constituted bodies, highlights of previous budgets, and an overview of the financial and economic situation of the country.

On Budget Day, MaltaMedia will provide up-to-the-minute coverage of the Budget Speech and related news directly from Parliament and the Ministry of Finance.
