
Polish business delegation to visit Malta
A Polish business delegation led by Maciej Gorski, Ambassador of Poland and other officials from the Polish Embassy in Rome, will be on a two- day visit to Malta this Thursday and Friday. The Polish delegation will also be including nine companies involved in the following sectors: food and beverages; silver and amber jewellery; household and industrial disinfectants and cleaners; medical (unique system for reutilisation of capillary dialysers); porcelain; consumer and household goods (including food, beverages, clothing, shoes, fancy goods and cosmetics) as well as in turnkey projects in various area including petrochemicals, power, cement plant construction, repair and overhaul, fabrication of industrial furnaces, steel structures, boilers, pressure vessels, industrial and municipal waste water plants.
These Polish companies will be briefed on investment and industrial and business opportunities in Malta and will also meet Maltese companies. One to one meetings will be held on METCO premises tomorrow.
The members of the delegation will also be holding a seminar at METCO today on the economic, investment and business climate in Poland. The speakers will include the Polish Ambassador to Malta, the Commercial Counsellor and the Commercial Attaché from the Polish Embassy in Rome, the President of the Polish Trade Fairs Corporation and representatives of the mayoral office of Walbrzych.
The delegation's visit is an initiative of the Euro Info Centre at METCO and the Polish Embassy in Rome, supported by BOV and HSBC.
