Avantech appointed official representatives for OKI in Libya

Avantech Ltd, official distributors for Canon and OKI business systems and office equipment have been appointed official representatives for OKI in Libya. OKI is a major player in the business solutions business and specialises in three industry sectors, namely electronic devices, telecommunications and information products. It employs over 20,000 people all over the world and invests over US$500m annually into research and development.

Avantech's relationship with OKI dates back to 1995 and due to the excellent results achieved during this period, the recent changes on the Libyan market and their continued performance in Libya, a decision was taken earlier on in the year to grant the company official representation for OKI in Libya.

Avantech Ltd has been operating in the Libyan market for the last 10 years and has been quite successful in setting up a strong sales and servicing network through long term contracts with major companies operating in the oil, banking, services and other sectors.
