New managing director for Standard Publications

Roger de Giorgio has been appointed managing director of Standard Publications Ltd, publishers of The Malta Business Weekly, The Malta Independent on Sunday and The Malta Independent.

Dr de Giorgio brings with him a wealth of experience in the media having held the position of editorial director at Independence Print and later chief executive of NET Television. He resigned his post at Net Television last January.

Dr de Giorgio began work with Standard Publications yesterday.
