
Bay Street four-star hotel complex to employ 150
Three hundred guests will be able to enjoy the luxury of a brand new hotel complex when Bay Street opens its doors for business in November. The complex is being built to a four-star grading specifications and will be situated on the top level of the Bay Street project. The hotel is expected to create 150 new jobs.
The hotel complex will have 100 twin rooms, 19 self-catering apartments and four apartment suites. Each room is equipped with a TV, air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hair dryer and en-suite bathroom facilities. The hotel complex will have a total of five floors, three on one side of the Bay Street project and another two on the other. The reception area will be located on the ground floor of the Bay Street adjacent to the artisan market. Other amenities include sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, conference facilities with syndicate rooms, three lounge areas with TVs and bar and a terrace restaurant with panoramic views of St George's Bay.
The hotel complex will also be offering accommodation facilities for the language school which will be housed within the Bay Street project.
Speaking on the Bay Street Hotel Complex, Paul Camilleri, director of Bronville Ltd, developers of the Bay Street project, stated that "the hotel will be the only hospitality venue in Malta offering an array of environments that enhance the traditional services that hotel guests expect.
