Voices 2000 - A Call for Sponsorship

The popular youth choir Voices, in preparation for its forthcoming concerts in October 2000, is launching a Call for Sponsorship open to various sized business concerns as well as individuals.

After an absence of two years from the local music scene, Voices will this year be back at the Mediterranean Conference Centre with a new series of eight concerts of popular music in October.

Voices has to date held a total of six series of concerts since 1991, and has raised almost Lm100,000 in aid of various local and international charities including UNICEF, Amnesty International, Red Cross International, UNHCR (Malta), the Hospice Movement, Eden Foundation, Caritas, JRS, Cash for Cancer, and others.

With a record audience of over 11,000 spectators, the 1998 Voices - Homeless concerts proved to be highly successful and probably Malta's largest local music event.

The aim of Voices is to bring young people together in a positive and creative environment, to offer good entertainment and to be a voice for and aid to the underprivileged.

It has always been the policy of Voices to cover all expenses involved in the concerts through sponsorship, thus allowing all ticket money to be donated to charity.

In past years, Voices approached private companies or corporations offering sponsorship packages. This year, Voices feels it has the ingredients to offer benefits to a wider spectrum of sponsors.

Voices is issuing a Call for Sponsorships of different degrees - gold, silver and secondary sponsors. Any company, organisation or individual can apply and will have the opportunity of selecting and negotiating their own promotional package within the parameters set out in the Call for Sponsorship, while being associated with one of Malta's recent success stories.

Although Voices is essentially a non-commercial organisation, this sponsorship scheme is being presented as an entirely commercial offer - one which is certainly a win-win situation both for the sponsors and for Voices.

Voices enjoys an uninterrupted image of excellence, professionalism and top quality entertainment, besides being a promoter of universal positive values.

Voices has become a household name and a much-awaited event and appeals to a wide audience - both young and old.
