Insurance Quarterly magazine
The second issue of the Insurance Quarterly, the journal of the Association of Insurance Brokers and the Association of Insurance Companies, is out today with The Malta Business Weekly.
Focusing on health and health and safety at work, the September issue of IQ takes a look at the various issues that are being discussed at present.
In an extensive interview with the Minister of Health, Dr Louis Deguara, he highlights the major problems affecting the local health sector in Malta, in particular health expenditure, problems with the unions and the government's efforts to improve the overall service.
Anton Felice takes a look at how the Internet has raised the question of whether boundaries should be respected or not, and how France resorted to the Courts to prohibit Yahoo from being accessed in France. In another article he goes back in time to a small region in France where a medieval hospital was built.
Other articles include a feature on continuity management, a sector that is still being developed locally, the local training scenario with an interview with the principal of the Malta Insurance Training Centre, Rosanne Galea, and much more.
The 64-page, quarterly magazine, which has been given a new, fresher image, carries contributions from experts in various fields of insurance as well as feature articles on matters directly affecting the business community but with relevance to insurance.
