Dhalia sponsorship for Junior Chamber Malta Conference


In an effort to enhance the local discussion about entrepreneurial skills and e-commerce the LOM de Wignacourt of the Junior Chamber Malta is hosting a one-day conference entitled “Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and E-commerce”.
The aim of this conference is to
create a forum of discussion on these three very important issues which are vital for the development and expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises. The conference, which is being sponsored by the Dhalia Group, will be held on Saturday at Dhalia’s Head Office in Mriehel.
The keynote speaker for this conference will be Dutchman Robbert Boonk who is a senior management and marketing consultant with extensive experience in the field. Mr Boonk is the international vice-president of the Junior Chamber and has conducted several training sessions for the Dutch Police, Arthur Anderson, Oracle, Philips and Tetra Pak among others. The conference will also be addressed by successful local business entrepreneurs namely: Dhalia director and Bay Street marketing director, Chris Grech and Alpine Holdings chief executive, Tony Zahra. Both Mr Grech and Mr Zahra will be talking about their personal experience in conducting business in the local market. The fourth speaker is Ray Cassar, marketing manager of Institute for the Promotion of Small Enterprises who will be talking about his experience of working with local SMEs and IPSE efforts to help SMEs develop and retain their competitive edge.
