Maltese among world’s best financial advisers

Exceptional product knowledge and client service have enabled J.G.P. Bonello, managing director of Financial Planning Services Ltd, and of Financial Planning Stockbrokers Ltd of Ta’ Xbiex, to the million dollar round table’s prestigious top of the table, of which he is the only Maltese member.
Achieving membership in top of the table is a career milestone attained only by those who have demonstrated exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct. Qualification for the top of the table is restricted to the top four per cent of the million dollar round table (MDRT) membership of 20,000.
MDRT was established in the United States in 1927, and is an international independent association whose membership make up the world’s best retirement planning, asset management, life assurance and financial service professionals from 60 countries. It is internationally recognised as the standard of excellence in the field of financial services.
Mr Bonello has qualified for membership of the million dollar round table for 25 consecutive years. This is the fourth time he has qualified as a member of MDRT’s top of the table. He has just attended the exclusive annual meeting which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.
The meeting sessions were addressed by leading exponents in the fields of financial services, management consultancy and the “whole person” concept. Mr Bonello said that the major advantages of such meetings for his clients were the tremendous networking opportunities and the exchange of ideas and concepts with the leading financial practitioners from around the world. This being his fourth qualification meant the development of existing friendships and the establishment of new ones with like-minded individuals, who make up the world’s elite in client-focused financial advice.
