Middle Sea Group supports philanthropic institutions

irectors, management, staff and professional consultants of the Middle Sea Group exchanged seasonal greetings during a reception held recently at Middle Sea House. Guests were welcomed by Mario C. Grech, chairman & CEO of the Middle Sea Group. Mr Grech mentioned that this was the first event to mark the 20th anniversary of the Middle Sea Insurance plc. Varied activities will be held during the first six months of the year 2001 culminating with a special reception for its
shareholders.
Mr Grech briefly referred to Middle Sea’s development over the years, making it today one of the leading financial institutions listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
As is customary, a special donation towards the Community Chest Fund was made to His Excellency Prof. Guido de Marco, President of Malta. Other donations were then presented by the President on behalf of the Middle Sea Group, to Caritas, Dar tal-Providenza and the Hospice Movement.
In expressing his congratulations for Middle Sea’s 20 years of service in the financial sector, the President augured further success in Middle Sea’s endeavours, both locally and overseas and emphasised the importance of solidarity within our
community.
