Top award for timeshare resort

A top timeshare resort has become the first in Malta to win a prestigious international accolade for the fifth year in succession.
RCI, the world’s leading timeshare exchange organisation, has awarded its coveted Gold Crown Award to The Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s every year since 1997.
To achieve Gold Crown status a property must first meet set criteria for accommodation, facilities and service levels. In addition it must achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and RCI asks all exchange guests to complete personal reports following their exchange holidays. The results of these reports form an important part of the overall assessment for Gold Crown Awards.
Raphael Cauchi, assistant general manager at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort, received the Five Year Gold Crown plaque from RCI’s Vivienne Noyes-Thomas, director market development. Mr Cauchi said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award for the fifth year running – it proves that Radisson is dedicated to providing the highest standards of accommodation and facilities to its timeshare guests.”
Mr Cauchi and Ms Noyes-Thomas were joined by Sally Watts, account manager responsible for RCI’s resorts in Malta.
