Vodafone introduces usage rewards for customers

Vodafone subscribers on the Personal Plan and the Business Plan will become eligible for significant usage rewards as from 1 February, 2001. The reward scheme is simple to apply and will reward all contract clients spending more than Lm10 on local phone calls per month.
Contract subscribers spending between Lm10 and Lm14.99 on local calls in any one month will qualify for a 7.5 per cent discount on their monthly local call bill.
Contract subscribers spending between Lm15 and Lm24.99 on local calls in any one month qualify for a 10 per cent discount on their monthly local call bill.
Contract subscribers spending over Lm25 on local calls in any one month will be eligible for a 15 per cent discount on their local call bill. This is a simple to apply Call More – Pay Less offer to Vodafone subscribers with no gimmicks attached and is placed at levels that can easily be reached.
Joe Grioli, Vodafone Malta managing director, said the company is pleased to bring its tariffs closer to those of other European countries. “The company stated repeatedly that it is in favour of competition because this would favour its clients, the consumers, by way of decreased tariffs and is pleased to be in position to do so now.”
