Former US ambassador to Malta appointed Log On America director

Former US Ambassador to Malta, Joseph R. Paolino Jr, has been appointed an independent director on Log On America, Inc., a solutions-centric Integrated Network Services Provider (INSP). The company offers digital IP transport and integrated network solutions to businesses throughout New England, US.
Mr Paulino has dedicated over 20 years of public service to the State of Rhode Island. Following a six-year tenure as Mayor of Providence, he served as the director of economic development and tourism, where he developed in-state business retention programmes and new initiatives for the promotion of international trade. He also worked on such projects as T.F. Green Airport, Providence Place Mall and the Rhode Island Convention Centre.
In 1994, American President Bill Clinton appointed Mr Paolino the US Ambassador to Malta. As such he represented the United States’ political, security and economic interests.
He is currently the owner of one of Rhode Islands’ largest family commercial real estate development and property management firms.
