Le Meridien Phoenicia
to raise funds for earthquake victims

As the leading international hotel company in the Indian subcontinent, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts has pledged to raise US$250,000 towards the disaster appeal. For this reason the Le Meridien Phoenicia is organising an Indian evening in aid of the victims in the Grand Ballroom on 2 March.
The evening will give guests an opportunity to sample a buffet of classic Indian fare including Chicken Tikka, Lamb Mugalai Saag, Onion Bhaji and much more. Wine and San Pellegrino water have been sponsored by Marsovin and Charles Grech & Co. Entertainment will be provided by The Frank Bonnici band and Mike Wickers King Beat disco who have all donated their services.
Donations of flights from Air Malta, British Airways and Emirates and holidays at Le Meridien Hotels around the world will make up the auction along with other gifts of a Le Creuset BBQ from Frank Borda Ltd and a video player from Forestals.
Tickets are Lm5 per person plus a donation of Lm10 which will go directly to the appeal fund. Tables of 10 are recommended. Reservations are to be made by calling The Banqueting Office at Le Meridien Phoenicia on tel: 22911061 or 225241, or email info@phoenicia.com.mt for further information.
Donations to the fund can also be made by cheque to Phoenicia Hotel Co. Ltd and sent to Indian Earthquake Appeal, general manager’s Office, Le Meridien Phoenicia, The Mall, Floriana.
