New insurance service offered to car owners

Car owners can now shop around for the best deal in motor insurance and then book their insurance policy with just one phone call.
Aon Malta, the local representative for the leading internationally recognised Insurance Brokers Aon Group yesterday launched a new service – Aon Select. The service allows customers to purchase their motor insurance policy by telephone.
Managing director of Aon Malta Joseph Cutajar said the company has looked at the needs of customers in motor insurance and came up with a solution to their problems.
Aon Malta has invested in a call centre and will
be able to give quotations for different motor-vehicle policies and even renew or book a new policy in just seven minutes using a freephone telephone number.
“You will not need to leave the comfort of your home, or take a day off work. All you have to do is call the free phone number 0800 773366 and speak to one of the telephone operations.”
On contacting the telephone operators, customers are asked a number of questions about their vehicle and themselves and these details are keyed into their database which will produce the best motor insurance options to satisfy the customer’s needs.
The customer will be able to purchase a policy direc-tly by phone either by giving out debit card or credit card details or else by sending a cheque.
