New HR director for
Island Hotels Group

Island Hotels Group have recently appointed Mr Louis Naudi as director of human resources for the Group.
Mr Naudi has over six years experience in human resources management as well as training and development positions both in the travel as well as the manufacturing industry. Apart from being a graduate in Philosophy and Human Studies, Mr Naudi has just completed an MSc in Training and Human Resources Management with the University of Leicester (UK). Prior to his experience in Human Resources Management, Mr Naudi also worked in the field of education, as a teacher and later, as a guidance counsellor. Louis Naudi is married and has three sons.
The appointment to this new position is in line with the aim of Island Hotels Group to continue strengthening the human resources role as a key contributor towards achieving overall group operational objectives.
“Since commencing operations in 1987, Island Hotels Group has grown at a very fast pace and today directly employs over 800 people. The employment of Mr Naudi will enable us to consolidate our efforts in the most important part of our company, our staff. Furthermore, with our plans for future growth it was felt that a person of Mr Naudi’s calibre was essential to enable us to effectively prepare for our future human resources needs,” Winston J. Zahra, director of operations of the Group, said.
