Cornerstone Christian Arts opens in Paceville haven

The Millennium Chapel Complex has recently expanded the services it offers by joining forces with Cornerstone Christian Arts, a Christian outlet formerly based in Swieqi.
The Cornerstone Christian Arts shop, which includes an Internet Cafe, sells Christian books for adults and children alike, jewellery, giftware, cards, posters and a vast selection of praise and worship compilations and contemporary Christian music. The contemporary range includes a variety of genres, from rap to rock, from jazz to rhythm & blues, all bearing Christian themes. By working hand in hand, the Millennium Chapel Complex and Cornerstone hope to attract more visitors to the centre by offering a fuller service. Those entering the chapel to visit the Blessed Sacrament or attend a prayer meeting now have a place to shop for music and books to help them in their spiritual journey. Those stopping at Cornerstone now need only take a few steps to visit the chapel next door.
Mark Parlato Trigona, who first opened Cornerstone in Swieqi three years ago, revealed plans to
develop the outlet into a Christian coffee shop where one could surf the Net, buy a book or gift, and have a drink while listening to Christian music in the background.
This is in keeping with the complex’s mission to be an interactive place. Besides, the current Internet connections available are about
to be replaced by On-Vol Cable Internet to provide much faster access.
Mr Parlato Trigona forms part of the well-known ‘Youth Fellowship’ worship team and has been an active member of the Cenacolo Community, led by Andrew Consiglio, for the past eight years.
“My involvement with Cornerstone and now the Millennium chapel is definitely part of the fruit that my life is bearing as a result of what God has done for me through Andrew, who is now a very close friend of mine, and Youth Fellowship – not to mention the many other people who contributed towards my spiritual upbuilding, in a special way, Julian, Andrew’s brother,” he affirmed.
Cornerstone is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm.
