MTA promotional material a hit in Austria

Two Malta posters and a flyer, utilised by the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) in its overseas promotional efforts, recently received awards during the “tourist Austria” Werbe Grand Prix.
Both posters secured second place in their category. The poster portraying Gozo’s azure window was awarded “signum laudis in Silver” by consumers, while the poster showing Spinola Bay in St Julians obtained second place in the ranking of the expert jury.
In the brochures category, the MTA publication Malta: The sun, the sea and 7,000 years of history, was the second most popular choice in the consumer voting.
The “tourist Austria” Werbe Grand Prix is considered to be the toughest but also one of the fairest international competitions for tourism-related promotional material.
All exhibits were voted for by two independent juries, namely an expert jury and one composed of some 30,000 visitors to the tourism fair in Salzburg, who had the possibility to vote for the promotional items exhibited at the fair.
