go mobile opens retail outlet at MIA
go mobile is the first wireless telecommunications company
in Malta to open a retail outlet at the Malta International
Airport (MIA). The shop at the MIA officially opens today.
The go mobile MIA retail store is located in the Welcomers
Hall at the airport terminal a very central position
that makes the outlet accessible to Maltese and foreigners alike.
The new outlet is offering an array of services and products
to both locals and tourists, including Ready to go. Visitors
arriving to Malta can conveniently purchase their 30-day mobile
phone connection (go on Holiday) from the go mobile retail shop
at the MIA. They can also inquire about go mobiles services
such as roaming. go mobile sales executive John Farrugia said
in total go mobile now has seven retail stores spread around
Malta and Gozo. The other shops are located in Marsa (head office),
Sliema, Valletta, Msida, Fgura and Victoria (Gozo). This
ensures maximum coverage as well as a direct relationship with
our users or prospective users, he said.
The new MIA outlet is strategically located to offer go
mobile
services and products to anyone
visiting the airport, as well as to the thousands of tourists
that visit Malta, Mr Farrugia said.
A spokesman for Malta International Airport said that the opening
hours of the go mobile outlet at MIA are extended beyond normal
business hours to ensure that an adequate
service is given to the public. The addition of the go mobile
retail outlet is also in line with MIAs policy of offering
an even wider range of
services to both the travelling customer as well as the public
