Maltese IT company involved in
multi-million pound software project
Three Maltese software developers working with Makeezi Ltd
are presently in the UK taking part in a multi-million pound
software project won by Magic Software Enterprises UK. The project
involves the delivery of an enterprise wide web enabled software
solution for the logistics and distribution channels of John
Menzies.
John Menzies is a leading operator in the
United Kingdoms news industry controlling approximately
25 per cent of the United Kingdoms wholesale media distribution
market through a network of 30 distribution centres, distributing
roughly four million newspapers every day, 9.5 million periodicals
every week and 21 million magazines every month.
Commenting on this important initiative, Ing. Alex Tranter,
CEO of Makeezi Ltd said: We are extremely proud that Magic
Software in the UK have invited us to participate in the development
of this major IT solution. This project will provide our developers
with extensive knowledge and work experience in building complex
web enabled software solutions using the Magic rapid application
technology. These specialised skills will continue to increase
Makeezis IT skills base in the fast growing sector of
providing organisations with web-based solutions. I feel confident
stating that this opportunity has strategically opened the door
for the increased use of our IT resources abroad in large exciting
IT projects developed using the Magic technology.
Makeezi Ltd, www.makeezi.com, is a subsidiary company of the
Vassallo Builders Group and specialises in providing Rapid Application
